1. What is Figlet?

Figlet is an AI-powered relationship coaching and psychoeducational self-help tool designed by Figs O’Sullivan, LMFT, built on Emotionally Focused Therapy frameworks and data from 41,000+ relationship assessments. By using Figlet you agree to these Terms, which include the Empathi Privacy Policy.

2. Figlet is Coaching, Not Therapy

Figlet is relationship coaching and psychoeducation — not therapy, not a medical service, and not a crisis service. Use of Figlet does not create a therapist-client or doctor-patient relationship.

3. Who Should Not Use Figlet

Figlet is designed for adults (18+) in fundamentally safe relationships who want to understand their patterns better. Figlet is not appropriate if you are currently in a mental health crisis, an active domestic violence situation, or seeking a medical diagnosis or treatment. If you are under 18, please do not use the Services.

5. The Role of AI

Figlet is powered by artificial intelligence. The clinical framework was designed by Figs O’Sullivan, LMFT. The AI may occasionally produce responses that are inaccurate or not applicable to your specific situation. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions in your relationship.

7. Privacy and Data

Your conversations with Figlet are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Conversation data is automatically deleted after 12 months. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your dashboard settings. Empathi does not sell your personal data or use conversations for advertising purposes.

9. Subscription and Payment

Figlet offers free features (quiz, reports, 10 free coaching messages) and paid subscriptions: Standby at $14.95/month (30 messages per cycle, rollover up to 500 messages) and Active at $57/month (250 messages per cycle). Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel anytime by emailing figs@empathi.com. All credits are non-refundable.

13. Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. Empathi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Your use of the Services is solely at your own risk.

14. Dispute Resolution

Disputes are governed by California law and resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS in San Francisco, California. You waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action or representative proceeding.
